Its strange that the catholics didnt ban the batteries, maybe at first they did, gotta do some research. haha.. am, ok, so Im getting the reel echo, the vintage tube/led enlightened overdrive (but the tube causes the overdrive, right, it isnt just for showing off), aaand cant decide between the fuzz (which Hurb reviewed greatly) oor the green transistor overdrive.. I cant take both .. cause its too much (yaa, Im on budget, washing windshields for the 62 Telecaster aka beauty)

Sorry for the double post, but so, I ordered the Danelectro Echo, and the Behringer Tube Overdrive pedal (with the backlit tube, haha) yes.. and a nice angled cable, short one.. for the effects, wuu waa, nice, now Im waiting an email.. this is so strange, never bought something for the guitar via internet, its like 1st of september.. hha

I bought the Behringer Acoustic simulator and it was shit. Not only talking about the plasticy housing and cheap electronics, the sound was terrible, and wouldn't match the volume of my bypassed guitar without sounding like poo. Maybe I got a defective one, but I only paid $15 so why bother returning it. I think I took it apart and ended up scrapping it.
Because of this I'm very skeptical about buying another behringer product. I do admit the Vtone/Vamp series are actually not bad sounding. I don't know, maybe if I can order one cheap from work I'll dew it.

Acoustic simulators in general I think are pretty shitesy.
Sometimes they kinda work, but not really.

No. I know what you mean but trust me on this one. This did not work for shit. At least the boss one you have control over volume and it doesn't make insanely loud overdrive/hissy/feedbacky noises. I couldn't get it 25% of my bypassed volume with the effect on without this happening. I'm sure I got a defective one, as if everyone who bought one had this problem, they'd have probably had to stop making them.

I ordered my shitzorz from the
Thomann.de , they ship to UK or wherever.. I suppose my stuff will arrive monday at the best.. Ill try to do a demo.. I havent got all the cool microphones and shitz, but Ill try.. The shipping to latvia was ~20 euros, thats not cool, but well.. (to UK its 10, like 5 pounds, about)

You realise all Acoustic Sims are terrible right?
I've tried a lot of their stuff and it's ace.

I wish I still had this thing for sound samples, seriously.
I'm only saying, I know I got a defective one. I've brought this to a shop and a/b'd it with a boss....whether you like the sound or not, the boss was usable, the behringer sounded broken.
It's the QC that I'm afraid of, not the quality of their effects.

okay, but yeah, who the hell still buys acoustic simulators? i hate the sound from them - its just so digital and doesn't even match an acoustic.

Which is why I have a LR Baggs X-Bridge piezo system on my strat now.
All I'm saying is the type of effect is irrelevant. I know some effects are bad
I'm 2-2 on behringer products. My first experience with them was my 4x12 cab which sounded good enough and worked fine (not hard to fuck up a cab). Second was a eurorack mixer, where the flimsy proprietary power supply jack fell apart after disconnecting it once. After that I got the acoustic sim that was pretty much DOA. My latest behringer purchase was a Xenyx mixer 1202fx, and aside from the thing not having a power button or on/off switch, I have no problem with it yet.
I'm just a bit wary of them now that's all. I mean I work in a shop and behringer aren't the only things to break around there, but when 2/4 of my own experiences have been negative, there's something up. I don't even gig much, there's no way you'll be finding these pedals on "Pro's" boards'.
