ok just scored a Turbo RAT off a bloke on gumtree. £40 with power adapter, decent price but i shoulda haggled.

lets hope it improves me distortion - currently im alternating between marshall guv'nor+ and a DS-2. not massively happy with either.
Guvnors are impressive imo, lots of shred capabilities! I've had about 3 RATS down the years and never liked them, Big Muff everytime!
Nice one dude anyway, i hope you get that tone.

the guv'nor is a great pedal, but im playing through a Marshall and its just too similar to my amps distortion channel.

i want something a bit different/fuzzier sounding, plus theres the turbo rat -> Thurston Moore connection :wink:
