ill agree with fran here. mine is really good. its a 97 sonic blue(looks sea foam green though) i locked the trem and put a tom and a jb in the bridge. it sounds wonderful. i think im going to change the cap to a .022 and maybe the pots to 500k, though

I was going to at one point but i thought no one would be interested and it would get sneered at. But, just for you Hurb.. because i love you like a brother <3

Just bought this Jag-Stang yesterday for €250. It's a "Crafted in Japan" from 1995. Completely stock with original gig bag.

Yeah, I've heard they are going for ridiculous prices on eBay.

I've still got my first of the second batch, got it early 2003, but probably is 2002, I'll check the serial number when I go home next.

I used to have one of those poor quality excuses for a guitar, then contacted warmoth and had them make one the right way.

i swear fender makes 20 guitars.
10 of them are ok, 5 are BADASS and the other 5 are shit.
my 96 is the shit, i still play that thing, granted the only things og to it are the trem(not the bridge) the neck, and the body.
everything else has been replaced, well the neck pup is the same.
but the tuners, bridge pup, bridge, guard, pots, jack, wiring, and even the string tree and strap buttons are after market, i love the thing, and i get ALOT of questions about it, some people ask if i made it, some ask if its a weird mustang, and 1 person asked me at the last sirens show if i knew how to play teen spirit, i got pissed but once he started to laugh i knew he was joking around.
altho your future stang is the shit!

Here's my 97. It's got a Seymour Duncan "Great White Snark" Strat pickup in the neck position and a DiMarzio PAF Pro at the bridge. It also has a tune-o-matic and a stop bar tailpiece, the trem is long gone.
