Yeah, besides the scale length and maple "feel", the guitar plays a lot like a Gibson. I also should have mentioned I got the vintage compound radius -- 7.25" near the headstock, going up to (I think?) 10" on the upper frets. Perfect mix for chording and soloing!

Seriously USACG is the best custom company out there. Good options and prices. I should do a good youtube video, those old ones are kinda bad and don't show how the guitar sounds that well. (Twin Reverb at low volume, plus in the one video it's not properly intonated haha).

i'd have to say my strat is the guitar i'd always go, i love it a fair bit and i havent had my les paul custom long enough to knock the strat of it's perch.
that said, if i could have any guitar back that i used to own, it would my sg junior.

we also say, bye bye to deeply departed pedalboard and deeply departed (temporaily) tweed deluxe RIP

my pos plywood squier strat. Just the humbucker is wired up. It never stays in tune. I like playing it though and dont fear dropping or scratching it.

The fact it's my only guitar has only a little to do with it. It's fucking lovely.

I need to fix the case so I can take it to doogfest.

Yay! It's no longer a J Mascis custom. I've made it my own.

James randomly came out with "BOUNCE-BOUNCE IN THE MOSHHHPIT" in the worst Durst voice I've ever heard, I laughed for about 5 minutes solid.

I dont konw about the internaitonla shippzorz.

FWIW, I didn't break any strigns when i had them WOW! Maybe Hurb would hook you up, if he still has them? The would have 2x the mojo of brand new saddles.

No can do, I drilled em through the middle and used em as string t's on my hagstrom. I didn't like em much. plus you gotta make sure your guitar is grounded through the trem otherwise your strings will go bzzzt
