Do they like have to reform them or something before sending them out? Not sure if they would have to do that if they're unused or what.
Did you do an a/b comparison with the different caps? that would be interesting.

I guess since it fired up and worked, you may be alright. We use a variac to supply voltage slowly to old receivers etc...

I actually had a dream last week that a Tiny Terror arrived in the post for me. When I opened it I realised that you had made it, and that I had bought it off you. It was also covered in wee patches of masking tape "for shielding."
