On real jags, the mute goes there. the big hole is for the plunger and the other small ones are for the screws. why they are there when the jap jag never had a mute?..gawd knows.

I never planned on refinishing it...I HATE reinishing, and I love the colour.
Whats a sjag-1 sound like...and I have no monies :cry:

I just buffed the the scratches out with 1500 grit wet n dry. looks better.

on the pickguard I mean.

Its a vintage sound but not quite like Antiquities. Definitely an improvement on the CIJ pups. You can have it if you want, pm me your address and i'll send it. If you have a 'bucker doing nowt i'd be interested, but its yours anyway.
