As for peeps preferences ie bridge, pups etc I thinks it's more to do with what people like, not that they think the other bridge or whatever doesn't work or is a bad design. Saying " I prefer the standard bridge to a TOM" doesn't mean TOM bridges are shit. It's a taste thing, no different to saying "I don't like corriander" it doesn't mean corriander doesn't work and should be banned I just means I don't like the taste.
FFS most people wouldn't buy a guitar if it was in a colour they didn't like.
Having read Alex's posts back he seems to have been playing mostly acoustic so either of the models is gonna play like butter in comparison.
