Box Of Rock sounds like a JTM45
The OCD is more of a JCM800 sound. It's a great sounding pedal but was too bassy for my 6100 for some reason, I actually think it might suit Proggie a lot now I think about it.

yes stewart, i'm addicted to drive pedals.
i struggle to find a pedal that will suit both single coils and humbuckers. i try to keep the board as stripped down as i can, so i want a pedal that would kinda do it all.

look into a fulltone distortion pro. that's the most versatile dirtbox i've ever used. they're quite expensive though, that's the only thing. quite a good review of it here-
basically, one of my mates went into a guitar shop with his own guitar, tried out every single drive pedal they had and came out with this one. i used it to do some recording in his studio soon after and i nearly peed myself, and i got one the following week. they're amazing, really versatile.

that distortion pro sounds really good, i'm torn now. it's either the ocd or that.
what about a boss turbo distortion?

DS-2's are really poor.

so that's why my mate only wanted a £10 for it. he tried to sell me a ds-1 too.
