The Eastwood Mandocastor is three hundred pounds, I'd be willing to bet you'd get one for four hundred dollars.

I think even Lamp said that his mercury you can see the glue line in the body if you look for it.. So....I guess not...Plus 800 USD or whatever for a guitar taht was not great, took forever, and is using GFS pups (although great, they are dirt cheap)....Fuck Em.Zaphod wrote:not everyone.the_dude wrote:sad part is it happens to almost everyone who orders from them.
there are anomalys, lamp's mercury was decent enough if i remember rightly. took a bloody age to get to him though.
How do they cost so much? For practise guitars?mickie08 wrote:I think even Lamp said that his mercury you can see the glue line in the body if you look for it.. NO. I was interested in mandocasters and saw that NoHo had one made. Then I asked them how much. and asked you (shortsale) what you thought of them and i think DGNR8 gave me the answer on how they were.Mike wrote:I think making this thread was a failed attempt as a popularist move. You don't have first hand experience of NoHo's fuckwittage, so just leave it alone. Dissing them to get "in with the gang" is not going to work, you cloying little bastards.

They came out pretty nice, and two Mandolin musicians have played ours and liked it, but we aren't confident enough to attempt to build them again....well, not unless the price was right, anyway. Besides, we'd have to alter the headstock to avoid getting into trouble with Fender as well. I truly wish I could be more helpful. -thaddeus
Since when do they give a shit about Fender while they're selling loads of unlicensed copies on eBay?Thaddeus wrote:we'd have to alter the headstock to avoid getting into trouble with Fender
i hardly think they're going to do you any favours if you ask them after openly slagging their work off in here. DDDave definitely posts here occasionally, i'm sure it would be difficult to 'sucker them into fixing one up cheap' or whatever you said if he's read this.the_dude wrote:NO.
