It's fucking hideous, and the fact you could tolerate it indicates that you have the aesthetic appreciation of a sea slug.
Well, it's not that bad considering other tort's are way worse, but I've never seen it close up...
Then why the
fuck are you talking about it?
Stop spreading misinformation. It is an intolerable character trait.
I
have seen it, hence why I'm commenting on it.

I thought you meant you saw it on the internet and didn't see it in person. I saw it at the store but not real close, know what i mean?

Simply beautiful value of the decade, and it sounds exactly like it should.
I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.

It's unbelievable really, great sounding thing and it's a dream to play.

I can so believe it.
Funny thing, amidst the dismal economic circumstances in the musical instrument scene I've asked every registered Squier dealer here about bringing in CVs, and nearly all of them have given me a grimace and a visual reference to their huge store stock of Affinity Series pieces that simply aren't moving. 'Tis a crying shame, I'm fairly sure they'd do quite well over here even if sold above US retail (as they'd have to).

That is a real bind, and you can kind of understand it from their point-of-view aswell. The Affinity stuff is really, not great. The Strats and Teles don't really feel like Strats and Teles, let alone sound, and there's something deeply upsetting about a barely finished sawdusty satin neck.

A pickup cover would look quite classy on that. As seen here with Maui Blue. Of course if the pickup is in your normal strumming zone it wouldn't work but if not it's fairly cheap to get one, about £9 or so. Note the more useul position of the thumbrest.

Are you using a bass amp, Mike? Any thoughts I had of the bassman being too much of an extravagance as a guitar amp were destroyed when I got that jazz bass. The bass side is near identical in terms of circuitry, it just has some component values changed to give the low end more emphasis and it also has an extra gain stage, but my god it sounds good for bass.
I've been using the vibro Champ when I've just needed volume for a short while, or when it's relatively late, and whilst I love it as a guitar amp it doesn't really sound that good for bass. After a few evenings with the champ an afternoon with the bassman makes me want to move to a detached house and do nothing but bring the funk at obscene volumes.

Love that bass, Mike :D Haha I like the "don't put in the bin" sticker on the neck plate?!

Very class, Mike. I was demoing the same bass yesterday and really considering buying it.
I have an older Squier bass and it's absolute shit. It's amazing how they've really cranked up the quality in recent years, especially on the CV stuff.
