it occured to me that i've not heard this pedal so i went to find a youtube demo and what did i get?
someone using a scooped mid-high gain sound, as his base sound for the demo.
some twat with a beard who was 90% natter natter and 10% annoying wanky playing. also using an overdriven sound for his base sound, fuzz loves cleans you dolt i don't want to hear your head's overdrive.
the good old guitar strings louder than the amp because it's recorded with a webcam.

sorry that was a typo. my INERNET lingo is a bit off. i must admit, i would be lying if i said i owned any Ramones records or said that the Ramones were my favorite punk band from that era.Chicago Mike wrote:

Just curious, what's wrong with the Ramones?

honestly. it wasn't that he was wearing a Ramones shirt (which, whether that is a punk rock cliche or not is debatable...) but the fact that he was rocking it w/ a flannel shirt & a baseball cap that really didn't match. i think you could say would be circumspect fashion-wise.Chicago Mike wrote:Fair enough. I only asked becuase it seemed to turn you off that he had a Ramones shirt. Wasn't sure if it was the fact he was sportin'a band t-shirt or if you really disliked the Ramones.
actually. it was the Ramones shirt that was his saving grace. IMO. it definitely stuck out in my eyes. that i used the dealmaker/dealbreaker usage wrong was really not the point.
capiche???

but wearing it open like that? if you were concerned w/ warmth you wouldn't wear it open. (& you'd also wear a sweater over it...)Chicago Mike wrote:Haaa...right on.
