I know. Thats crazy. I like thier ripoff of the Ampet SVT pro series. If I had to buy a bass amp right now, I would get one. I used one of their generic 400 or so watt solid state bass amps and 2x10 cabinet for a year as a bass amp for a jam night I ran and it held it's own just fine.

Does "Bugera" mean "dead baby fucker" in Nepalese or something?

I like the name. It reminds me of a great cat that is made out of hamburgers.
Both majestic and delicious.
It means "a fucker of animals" in English.

That's a great deal Mickie, will be interested to hear what you think of it compared to the TT and HT-5.

I have no doubt it will not compare to them as they are far more gigable I am sure. But 127 shipped to was just too cheap to pass up. If I end up not liking it can be my first attempt at amp modding or I will donate it to AL for the ALBQ's as a second guitar amp that is small and easy to keep around. Actually, I really want to check it out because if it is worth a shit, then either the v22 or v55 are next on my list. For under 300 shipped, the v22 s channel 1x12 combo seems a steal as well.

I have been wheeling an dealing today and yesterday.

Got the v5 for 127
Got the univox for 150
Picked up a brand new Takamine with case for 300 (usually 449 Plus case) shipped as well.
I also have a line on a squier classic vibe strat for 100 locally.

Gear is so fun and I have not bought anything (I sold everything) in a long time..

that v22 is likely to be what i'm getting as far as tube amps go. Will probably wait until musicians friend has them in stock so it'll be free shipping and no tax

I am doing the same but through americanmusical.com because of their flex pay plan. They break it up into 3 payments but ship right away. Pay the first 1/3rd and any shipping.

I figured that I would bite the bullet on the v5 so we could all see the build quality etc. Plus, at 127, no matter what it is a cheap practice amp.

Now I have to fight the urge to order a parts guitar from GFS....

I'd love to see some gut shots of the V5 when you get it. It just looks so damn classy.

I will take gut shots when I get it as well as a full review. I am pretty excited about this. I am hoping all the new gear makes it in this week.

Yeah, it's a striaght ripoff of Ampeg svt 3/4 pro which are over a grand I think.

Also, check out americanmusical.com and their payment plan....Great way to buy gear... I just bought a new acoustic from them last night.

what the fuck did you just do to me mickie?! i can't afford to take on any payments for another 11 months...but now I'm gonna be tempted.

I want that fucking bass amp though for sure...if i had a bass amp and a tube guitar amp (Which I got with the V50) then maybe i could start close-mic'ing my recordings and pissing off my neighbs!)

I've bought a bunch of stuff from them over the years. It's great because as long as you are under 1K it is not a credit pull or anything. They just pull the first 3rd plus shipping and bill the 2nd and 3rd 31 days and 62 days later. I don't use it to buy a bunch of stuff I don't need or stuff, but it has at times allowed me to buy the gear I wanted as opposed to the gear I had the cash on hand for at the moment. Epsecially when I was trying to get the open mic up and running years ago and needed to get a bunch of stuf at once.
