Musicmaster bridge questions

ok, if you imagine i turned the guitar on its side: the thickness of the neck pocket (measuring from the back of the guitar to where the neck sits) is 22mm. the neck from the bottom of the pocket to the top of the fingerboard (not taking the radius into account) is 23mm.
looking at the bridge, the top of the (low E side) saddle is about 2mm above the top of the lip of the bridge (where the strings come through).
i'd have taken some photos to illustrate, but my PC is in for repair, and i'm using a rather software-less laptop. if you can hang on a couple of days i can upload some pictures (or someone else with a MM/duo can step in?).
