Wanted to resurrect this thread as I'm currently selling my Country Gent to fund the purchase of one. They're working on a version without the effects built in. Here's a picture of a prototype one in Shoreline Gold.

I think i would rather have the effects. That way when someone says "what the hell is that thing and why is it around your neck" i can say that it atleast makes NOISE on command instead of saying its fuck ugly.

Apparently if you cover it with enough chrome... I can find sunburst not wholly unattractive.

I love these guitars, and have done since I first saw a picture of a blue fende original a while ago!
How many Marauders were actually made? I've never seen one for sale.
