I have edited your quote to factor in the fact that he said anything good about a line 6 spider. THE WORST amp I have ever had the misfortune of owning (It was a present from my brother in-law. nice thought, but a guff amp).

As much of a technology guy as I am, modeling amps just don't sound good. They might be okay when you are learning and trying to figure out your style. The only thing from Line 6 that I have liked is their stompboxes. I love my DL4, because it has so many different delays for a reasonable price and 3 presets with tap tempo. That still may not stop me from getting a Memory Boy down the road.
