just about everything on the wall @ the Music Exchange. couple 335's and tele's in the 6,000 - 10,000 is my comfort level of grabbin shit off the wall.

i played a gibson trini lopez deluxe at a small outlet. i think its valued around 2K-3K. very pretty and the sound was nice but, to tell u the truth it felt like crap. i'll take an es-335 or trini lopez standard ANY day of the week

the little guitar shop down the road from here has some acoustics in the $12k - 15k range, and we were playing nirvana and metallica riffs on them. so many lolz.

This one was about 20 or 30 grand(might not of been that much, that might of been the one on the wall with dont touch on that I touched ) I seem to remember. sounded like an acoustic guitar to me.

Gretsch Chet Atkins (£3,000ish)- huge mans guitar, amazing tone and finish.

I played a 100% original 1957 Fender Strat. That thing weighed (what seemed like) 4 lbs. It was totally different than any other guitar I've ever played.

I have no idea how much it was worth but it had to be pretty damn expensive. Definitely the most expensive I've played.

Probably the most valuble guitar I have played is my friend's '61 stratocaster.It was sunburst when his dad gave it to him but he had had it painted Burgandy Mist when I took this picture in the 80's.The last time I saw it it was black. What is a refinished '61 worth?

A $4000 LPB Jag with matching head and a D&B neck. The runner up was a $1700 71-72 LPB Comp Stang. Both very nice, but plugged in, just sounded the same as Reissues to me honestly, but the neck on the Comp Stang was nice.

played every es-335 at guitar center a few weeks ago. the early ones are in the $40-$60k range. they had a '61 that was amazing. the (relatively) cheaper '70s models weren't too bad, though.

some teacher in my school has a vintage fender acoustic that's pretty old that I played. other than that, i tried a vintage gibson acoustic some time ago. around $3000 and it didn't that good. i preffer my art and lutherie acoustic i got for $150 with hsc.

still worth a lot. like in the 5 digit range, definitely. he shoulda kept it burgundy mist!

A stock '58 strat on consignment at a shop I used to go to which isn't there anymore, it was sunburst, parts of the neck and the fingerboard at the 2nd fret looked like chewed pencil. There was a tag on it with the blue book value (almost $10k) and information to make offers. Beyond that I don't pick up very expensive guitars in shops because they put them high up to keep them out of the reach of children, and I'm sadly somewhat affected by this precaution.
Custom shop Gibsons are probably the runner ups, '59 Les Paul RIs and 335s, acoustics, etc...

The most expensive I've played is probably my guitarists Jackson RR24

or his Dean Razorback Slime Bumblebee

1951 Fender Nocaster or 1955 Stratocaster. Whichever of those 2 is the most expensive. I played the Nocaster at Guitar Heaven in Walnut Creek, CA and the Stratocaster was at Top Shelf Music in Buffalo.

Dunno, but the mint 1968 tele was definetly the best....
