Main Guitars:
Fender Classic Player 60's Strat:this is my main guitar, the one i always go or go back to. nearly sold it, glad i stuck with it. it's rewarded me with some amazing sounds, both clean and dirty. it's the guitar that brought me back to fender/single coils.
Fender Classic Player Baja Tele:I play this a fair bit and use it live as well as the strat. there's some songs we play that only sound right with the tele.
Occasional Guitars:
Fender CIJ 65 reissue Mustang:my first proper shortscale, great playing guitar, used it for a lot of the band's early gigs. just wish the pickup's were more like my strat/tele. trading it in for something else.
Epiphone Les Paul Goldtop:always wanted a goldtop, which i think is one gibson's nicest les paul models. used for heavier stuff, though not really been needed it.
Gibson Melody Maker with p90:got this to replace my sg jr. great guitar for the money, real nice crunchy sound. use it for slide a bit. it's being sold very soon.
Never Played:
Epiphone Emily The Strange SG:brought this years ago when i was well into gibson style guitars. never got playing 100% how i wanted it to and since getting better guitars, sits in it case. going up on ebay next week.
Gibson/Baldwin SG:crap argos special, looks ok though. brought it on a whim and should of got rid sooner. also going on ebay next week.
Acoustics:both my squire acoustic and my samick 12 string are sat in cases doing nothing. i'm not really an acoustic player and the 12 string needs work on it. probably give them away at some point.
Squire Parts P-Bass:back from when i played bass, kept around for if i wanna put bass on demos etc. probably sell/trade it at some point.
In Pieces:
Daisy Rock Retro H 12 String:Great 12 string for little money, had damage on the body and got messed around by andertons over it. took the pickups out to fit in the goldtop and never replaced them. planning to fit some new pickups and used it live for beatles/crowded house stuff.

66 stang Definately my main guitar. Mostly cos its the only one ive got at uni with me for the now. Does everything I could want it to.
MIJ Jag Not played it since i got the stang. It just doesnt have the same same feel to it atall. I think Ill sell it sometime in the future.
Squier Strat First electric I ever got. Kinda sentimental value so I probably wouldnt sell it. Not that Id get much. Parted out at the moment, thinking about changing it up a bit into something that sounds/feels decent.
Fender F-03 Pretty old acoustic that I love to bit. It has such a good sound, I dont think id get rid of it or change it atall. If it appreciated in value a bit I may do though.
Yamaha F-310 The first guitar I ever got when i was like 12. So important to me. Love it to bits.
Tele copy The fact that I only just thought of it shows how much I play it. Wouldnt sell for anything.

As I'm "down" to 4 Electrics

...
I mostly play my Mustang RI and the '65 Duo I bought from Pat. They're just really comfortable, and rather small. The Duo is also not that heavy. Whenever I need more / different sound, I play my MIJ Jazzmaster, which is still my favorite gigging guitar, as it simply sounds awesome what ever you play on it.
The Squier Musicmaster I don't play that much. It's just that the humbucker doesn't do what I want. But I take it to gigs as a backup. Doesn't matter if it gets thrown around, it's a beater anyway. The Bass I don't use that much. Ok, mainly I play guitar and it's a bass; but also, as a bass, it's not having the best sound I can imagine. It's just that a bass is in the house.

I own:
Fender '66 Jaguar
Fender MIM CP Jaguar Special
Robert(original) Duo-Sonic II
Squier Classic Vibe 60s P-Bass
I play them all, all the time. When I'm not playing a guitar often, I sell it. Normally to one of you lot.

I've only got the Jazzmaster up here, but I dig the Strat and Doogcaster Tele out every now and then, especially when recording. The acoustic gets used now and then- good for songwriting, farting about and recording... uhm, acoustic parts.
The Doogcaster 2 P90 Strat has been out-of-action since I realised that I really needed a different locking bridge (one that'll mount without a body route underneath) for it. Will probably stick the old bridge back on it and maybe source a new neck for it.

Fender Mustang - play it, love it
Ibanez GAX70 - play it, love it.
Fender Musicmaster - actually it plays a bit different than the mustang, being hardtail and all, so I still play it. but I'm thinking of selling it or turning it into a duo sonic.
Fernandes Decade - nice guitar, but I don't play it enough so it'll be up for sale soon.
Epiphone Dot - on other side of the continent. will be sold eventually.
'B' strat copy - on other side of the continent. not worth selling. it's great for trashy punk rock anyway.

how's the restauration going? are you gonna put mustang pups in it?
Pat.

I tend to offload stuff I don't play much and usually pretty quickly. Lately I've thinned it out to my three electrics and they've been safe from the choping block.
'52 tele reissue gets the least amount of playing (was my only guitar for a long time and has been completely thrashed from just being hard on it and needs some tlc before she becomes a regular again).
'59 335 reissue gets the most playing time (my one moment of shear luck. buddy pawned it for $1000 couldn't pay to get it out before it got turned over to the shop, so i went and got it out of hoc and wala, the sinle most badass guitar i've owned).
'70 les paul custom gets a lot of time per week. it's sounds good, plays good, looks good so it gets played a lot.
I do miss my jazzmasters, mustang, and jaguar but hopefully will find a b&b jazzmaster one day to scratch that itch.

Its such a solid little guitar. I love it. Taking it to its first gig in a few weeks. Stoked on that one.
I am sticking a new decal on in the next week, and then ill probably be getting it refinned in dakota red sometime soon.
Although the pups look kinda odd i love the sound of the neck one, as unoriginal and weird looking as it might be. The bridge is kinda week but sounds nice when blended in with the neck. Especially out of phase. Probably not gonna be messing about with those anytime soon.

MAIN GUITARS
Fender Mustang 65 I was using this with Temporary Asylum last year but recently im experimenting with more extended chord work so im favoring full scale necks. Love it though, it feels 'good vintage' and is one of a kind.
Fender Jag-Stang Self built model. Sat idle until i joined Master Charger, i've used it with them since. It's beefy sound and black body fit the setting.
Westfield 335 Recently acquired/honeymoon period. Enjoying the complete change to what i've used for the last 10 years with this one. Its been a long time since i owned a semi and i forgot just how good they are. Coincides with my lifetime admiration of The Smiths.
OCCASIONAL GUITARS
Lindert Loco T Rare and bought because i'd always wanted one. Gets played a few times every fortnight usually but i've recently started using this over the Mustang due to the lovely full scale neck and the fact it is different.
Fender Jaguar 64 Due to its age and value it has'nt had any use outside my home. A little disappointed in myself as i've nursed it rather than played it. Again, twice every fortnight it gets played, depending on mood. Took me the best part of 20 years to buy a Vintage Jag so it means a lot to me.
Epiphone Les Paul Custom Recently acquired for use with the Punk Covers band which have'nt rehearsed yet this year. Will see a lot more action no doubt. Considering using it with Master Charger too.
Fender Jazzblaster Ex- Cowy/Reece. Played a lot when i got it but its on a back burner at the moment, do really like it though.
Franrite Mosrite Self built. This is the most regular used 'occasional', whether i have a Ramones Night playing along or systematically grab it off the wall and admire it. It gets played.
SELDOM PLAYED
Squier Stagemaster Deluxe This is my Superstrat, Floyd Rose, EMG equiped guitar. Not used it for quite some time but it does get long periods of playing if i'm working Metal stuff out or fancy playing that stuff.
Tokai Flying V 80's The guitar i've owned the longest. Rescued from fire and nitromorse, i restored it back to its former glory 13 years ago. It is the bast 'player' out of all my guitars to be honest but it sits in its case most of the time. Would never sell.
Fender Acoustic I just dont vibe with acoustic guitars. Sounds ridiculous but they remind me of my old balding English teacher at school singing his stupid songs, Bob Dylan and Church bands. I like their sound with Classical music but dislike a lot of Folk and the usual crap everybody knocks out on them.

I've recently considered this, John from MC said to me "what is the point having it if you dont gig it? In 20 years time you'll say this is my Jag but it wont be on any gig photo's or anything"... and he is right. I probably will.

i've gigged my coronado a few times, never felt worried for it. in fact, it was only recently when we'd loaded everything into the van and i noticed gavin had accidentally made off with another band's epiphone casino thinking it was mine (similar hard cases- easily done) that i realised i maybe shouldn't be using a £1000 guitar as a backup for a shitty pub gig in stirling.

I used to have more than I played, I sold virtually everything 15 years ago apart from an acoustic. I'm hoping to start the GAS collection again but I will keep my fender gemini II until I die.
I do wish I still had some of my guitars still now, only because I see what price some of them fetch now

but then again, I don't regret anything I did back then (or at least what I can remember)

Our bassist had his Fender Jazz bass nicked at a gig last year, he got it back thanks to the pubs CCTV but what a headache. If the thief had'nt been a known local idiot i doubt he would have seen it again.
