Diago have fantastic customer service, but if that JSF place have them back in stock it is best to buy one. I have one of each. Brilliant power supplies.

I just ordered one. I was thinking of getting a couple of their guitar stands as well, they're only £7, but I figure I'll check in the local gutar shoppe, in case they have them for around the same price inc delivery.

They're a fantastic website really, very cheap prices. Check this out; a Mic Clip and Adaptor for a couple of quid? I'm sure most websites would ask for a lot more than that.

I think I'm going to get one those Johnny Shredfreak power supplies, my current power supply is a cheap one from Maplins and really noisy...

Altho, one thing I've always wondered about daisy chaining, if you've got a daisy chain lead with five outputs for example and you're not using all five of them what do you do with the unused connections? If they are just lying around on your board live, wouldn't that be a bit hazardous?

Just tape them up with masking tape or insulation tape. Done.

Can you post a review of the JSF power supply when you receive it? I'll be interested in how good it is as i've been thinking about getting a backup for my Diago Powerstation but don't want to pay £70 for another one.

By that way, i've always had good experiences buying from Johnny ShreadFreak. They have loads of very useful pedal board related stuff, I love their little metal things that allow you to screw your pedals down to your board - i've managed to use them for most of my pedals.

I have had the Diago for several years and the JSF one for about a year. They are literally the same thing.

Yeah sure thing, I've just ordered one.... altho Thom and the others sound well happy with theirs...

I've been getting loads of noise from my current unit since I added a reverb and delay to my pedal board, so I'm hoping it's gonna make a noticeable difference...

if you get more pedals it's more easy to remove this than tape and havz sticky daisy chain cables.

Good call, but I use masking tape and insulation on top for that reason, no sticky residue.

Your solution is better.

I'm looking to get one of these. I've already got the diago but I'm currently running three(yes, three!) delays and also the Holy Grail reverb off it, as well as a few other bits and bobs. I Think if I can use it to power my SMMw/H and the reverb then it should hopefully eradicate some of noise coming back through my amp.

Judging from what I've read on this thread they seem fairly reliable and their isn't a great deal of difference between the two units.

I've used JSF a few times and they've always been really helpful. Really good value for money too!

I always had trouble with adapters, I had a big computer surge strip so that you could plug the wall warts in beside each other but half my pedals were on different polarities (EH) and some like the whammy were their own voltage so it was a pain in the ass. I just used a bunch of polarity changeable multi tipped ac-adapters. I was going to build a board but never got around to it. If I ever get in the habbit again I'll probably buy one of those multipower boards kim posted.

I have a number of EHX pedals that have special voltage requirements. The Polychorus and Worm XO both use 24V and the Wiggler is on its own special adapter. I had a giant power strip before I got the Voodoo Lab PP2, but now all my pedals run through that except for those 3 on a small power strip. When I purchase some right angle power cables to clean up the cabling, I will also get a cable that will let me power one of the 24V effects from the PP2. The downer is it takes up two slots, but I have the space right now and it gets rid of an ugly wall wort. I like the PP2 because it gives me so many options for my different oddball pedals.

FFS. This one from Johnny Shredfreak doesn't come with a figure eight plug, so now I have to go on eBay and buy one separately.

I'm fairly sure it says that on the original JSF page, mate.
