I ordered one, and then it didn't come for 4 weeks. When I contactyed the shop they were like, "oops, we're out of stock."

They sent me my money back and I still haven't reordered the damn thing. They're such a pain to get hold of for some reason. I had a good line on a real Boss one, but that also fell through. It's pretty annoying, considering how much I want it.
Argh, nightmare. I bought mine basically on a whim because I knew how good the Boss version was, I had £25 going spare, and I was going into town anyway.
There is literally no where I physically purchase a behringer pedal in baltimore. Annoying.

Lol, that sounds interesting. what pedal is that?
Boss Bass distortion, i dunno that's the name of it, it's gotta be the weirdest pedal ever for guitar. You can add like 50% to the bass output of your guitar and if you turn the distortion way down it can get to sounding like you have 2 amps going, like a subtle background fuzz with a pure clean front. Super odd

Fucking hell, sounds awesome.

Will have to find a schematic and see if I can talk mike into cloning me one.

Isn't that what this Behringer clone is of?

http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/BOD400.aspx

Bacchuspaul had both (if I'm thinking of the right pedal) and he wrote up a comparison.

that's it, Bass Overdrive, lol
I have no idea why i called it a bass distortion. Anyhow, i just sort of wound up at my house, it sits on my green chair on top of my old dead g4 macbook.

I had an ODB-3, which is a yellow Boss pedal.

I now have the Behringer BOD something or other, which is a clone of it.

I don't think the ODB-3 was from the eighties, but I could very well be wrong. It's great with guitar, anyway.

It's what King Buzzo uses. I'm not going to lie, I'm a fanboy.

It's a monstrous sound comes from the pedal. Really loud too. It doesn't do quiet. My Epiphone Valve Junior through my Marsall412 turned to about half eight, nine o'clock with this pedal in front of it is still incredibly loud. Too loud, really, for bedroom use.

Tremendous fun. Don't let the volume put you off. If neighbours complain, kill them with riffz.
