Gretsch double anniversary 6118 green, £2225 (I doubt I’ll ever be able to justify paying that amount for a guitar)

Ah cool. I've seen them for about £1700 online...still bloody expensive but under the £2k mark.

infact I think that there was two of them,a blue one and a yellow one. Think they were about a grand or so.
I didn't pick one up. I don't find them that attractive.

I'm a pretty straight up fender man but damn me if I wouldn't love a Es-335 in Wine red.

Reminds me, would love an ES-339. Out of reach as they don't make them lefty, and custom shop prices are out of the question.

well, I'm at least glad to hear that they're out there. I went on the music ground website but they aren't on the stock list, bummer.

haha no Denmark street. The shops in Cheltenham never have anything I'm interested in.
Was thinking it would be cool for some shortscalers from the midlands do a little meet up soon.
Maybe a little mission to Denmark street. We got the gig in london coming up tho.

Saw James in Gloucester park at a gig and he said he's up for a local meet up. Shalli make a thread in the pub?

Oh. I think we're underestimating here just how anti-social I am. I'd only retreat to a tent when the drinking started in earnest.

That guy made that, it's not a model Rickenbacker has made in ages. That's pretty amazing. There are some other awesome Rickenbacker builds on there.

That's a good link man.

The 360F-12 on there .

This guy is skilled.

I've seen maybe two, three pictures of the thing. Have no idea how to go about getting one, don't know if I could afford one if I were to somehow find one.

how old? guitars made by d'angelico himself go for crazy money.
