what's the cheapest route to getting a jag?

The original shortscale guitars; Mustangs, Duo-Sonics, Musicmasters, Jaguars, Broncos, Jag-stang, Jagmaster, Super-Sonic, Cyclone, and Toronados.

Well considering he's been smitten by a traditional vintage Jaguar i'd say avoid the Blacktop or HH, besides, Rob is'nt a big Humbucker fan.

Get a second hand CIJ Rob, i sold mine for £350 a few weeks ago... if your patient you'll get one in your price range.
And besides; he's said he wants a fucking Jag - Jags have trems: anything else is a shortscale superstrat with a Jag shaped body. I'm seldom a zealot about stuff like this, but Jags have trems. The best trems.

Rob, keep an eye on eBay, you'll get a burst for that money no worries.
Post this is the blacktop Jag thread and watch the shit fly. Make some alarming comments about the buggers that run Fender too for good measure. :P

edit: I didn't see the other page/s. Bit late off the ball there Rhysy-boy..

Check Loot.com & PreLoved aswell plus freeads, i managed to snag my CIJ Jazzmaster for £145 off Loot. Everyone goes on Gumtree so unless you are first to see the ad its usually gone.

CALLING ROB!

OLLY WHITE £360 BIN

P.S. This has just come on. If someone bids it will wipe out the BIN, £360 is a good price considering its in good condition.

my dilemma is that i'm still saving up for a jag. don't think i've even got half towards it yet.
realistic, i should really sell a guitar to fund the jag. i just can't part with either my strat or my tele. might put the vintage paul up.

Sounds like a plan. Just buy the Jag first and save yourself £100-odd.

i'd need to sell first to get the money. if i even touched my saving, kay would have my balls on a barb wire fence.

Just something around the £300-400 mark. Defo second hand at that kinda price. Ideas?
Prog, a lot of musicians have discovered that the Jagmaster is a really good guitar. When I heard this, I went and played a few in stores and was impressed by each one. Very nice neck and action, of course set-up makes a big difference...strong tones as best I could tell on a "test drive". Guitar Center and others sell em for about $250, I believe.
