If I'd just gotten a guitar that old and it had that few scratches on it, I mighta counted them too. That's amazing for a 90's guitar.

As promised, shitty pics because I'm bad with cameras. Also it turned out the bottom of the guitar had some fucking gross body odor that I had to detox. Oh well, I guess 350 was too good of a deal for it not to have some crap on it.

How are Rondo's?
They got some shortscales.

I am a poor fella, is it worth spending 150 and getting a random rondo shortscale? Or should I just save and get a guitar I know will rock.

But I kind of love the cheapness of Rondo, and the fact that I won't feel guilty changing ANYTHING on them.

if you're talking about the sjm's, they're not cheap feeling at all. i'd equate them to the classic vibe squiers of today. nice gloss, great pickups, and lightweight.

I bought the Douglas Peragro Traveler and was disappointed in the build quality.

I continued to read good things about the SX line though.

And so I bought the SST57 short scale and am very happy with it.

No, this one is routed for three singles only. It works fine without any mods. But, I did change out the pups for some GFS premiums. And I put a Squier CV Duo Sonic neck on it.

I missed this whole thread til today. Good job avoiding the bad noob advice and getting the guitar! That's a pretty good deal for a vista, just because once in a blue moon one goes for $200 doesn't mean you got a bad deal. $350 for a vista jagmaster is a good deal, the best deal on one I've seen in a while honestly!
