is that what i said? that murder and rape are 'right'?
i think some high horses need to be dismounted, but then again, perhaps i'm just some sort of desensitised freak who doesn't really care about an internet meme that someone on 4chan made being screenprinted onto a pedal.

this is a photo of an event where thousands of people were MURDERED.....

Wait, how did this become about 9/11? I really don't care to hear anything else about one of the worst attacks on mainland America engineered by the Jews as part of their global conspiracy to make everybody hate them. Surely everything that has ever needed to be said about 9/11 has already been said? Should we start posting more pictures?

i'll wager the only reason you care so much is because it happened in america. if it was a photo of the ruins of dresden with mothra hovering in the sky you wouldn't even notice.

Did you forget, Stuart? Did you?
Because you weren't supposed to. In fact, you were meant to NEVER FORGET.
Now I do wonder whether that tattoo is more insulting than the picture on the pedal. The way that 9/11 has been marketed so successfully after the fact is really one of the more sickening aspects of the whole situation, bar the actual event itself. If those same people who go mad for cheap, tacky shit with pictures of the twin towers printed all over them decide that this pedal is therefore way too offensive for their delicate consumer appetites, then that can only be a good thing.

I wager the reason u do not care so much is cuz it was not in Scotland....so lets leave it at that....

Are we really getting into this argument? Really?
It's difficult to really make this point well as this hasn't actually happened, but if there were a guitar pedal that took a picture from some kind of meme that had grown up around the London 7/7 subway bombings I could guarantee the vast majority of Brits really wouldn't give a shit. And neither would the Americans on the board. In fact, I'd wager (how much are we wagering, by the way? All of our credibility?) that many US posters wouldn't immediately get the reference at all.

we've had horrific terrorist attacks here, in my lifetime. in fact, the american senate has been threatening our government very recently over their legal (in the eyes of our law) release of a certain prisoner on humanitarian grounds, perhaps you've heard about it?
and i never said i didn't care about the event in point; i said i don't care about that image being used on a pedal. big difference.

i just thought it was sort of in poor taste. 9/11 and it's huge swath of patriotism is a massive fucking joke. capitalizing on a picture that harnesses the feeling of such tragedy isn't really something that sits well with me. regardless of how often it happens.
and if it had been whatever-the-hell you were talking about stewart, i probably wouldn't have noticed. BECAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY LIVING IN AMERICA THE GREATEST GOD DAMNED CITY ON THE PLANET.
obviously i'm kidding, but even if it had been what you mentioned, and you had explained it, it would probably strike some sort of uneasiness in me. shit's just not cool. am i going to form an alliance against it, calling for the boycott of devi ever pedals? nope. but i believe i have the option to call it out in poor taste. it's almost like the danophobe thing, hinging on whether or not he/she knew what the original picture was made from.
if it had been paid asian actors from an actual godzilla film, that would've been fitting. the fact is that those people aren't running from a fictional terrorsaur or a cat with lazer eyes.

This is what I always assumed it was (minus the asian actors). I think it is unarguably in poor taste. Agreed the whole commercialization of the event is a joke. etc.

Let me say this.....I agree with what Watts said....everything that needs to be said about 9/11 has been said...we really do not need to do this... we obviously have different views and I can respect that... I am not sitting here saying ur a rapist or a murder... Its just obvious this picture does not sit well with me/others and it really does not bother you/others..thats the point of this...
thats the fact and it is what it is..we are different people and are bound to think differently.... so be it, that is how the world is

I think my comments were taken the wrong way.... I was not calling him a coward..... but the logic that it is done every day making it ok is cowardly logic..... Also, the rape and murder was probly an extreme example....
I hate political debates including this one.... reason being.... for some reason people take what I say the wrong way alot... arguing ensues and I prefer to avoid arguments.... I am a laid back dude

Jews are well known as slippery motherfuckers. This whole conspiracy they've built up over the last two thousand years to make everybody hate them is really just a front for the real conspiracy where they actually control everything. I read all about it in a few books that are pretty informative. There's the Protocols of the Elders, which is like some sort of true story or something, and another by a guy called Sticklegruber called "My Struggle" which is even better. It was written by an Austrian guy who was in prison and shit. Guy fuckin' knew, man. He knew.
