thanks hurb, that and the other thread certainly helps me try and piece together in my mind how you are doing these things and making me think of ideas and sounds in the future

I don't believe in hiding how we do things really, I really get a kick out of hearing how other people create sounds and stuff. And if there isn't anything obvious in any of the recordings just ask. and if I know I will say, a lot is on the hoof and by mistake though :)

I think perhaps the files are only up for short time or something. It's just the links I get from the drummer and I post em here. There should be some more from tonight's practice in the next few days so if there any good I will post em up.

I have had bother a few times asking for a bass amp. and this week one guy came in for the money and said '' I have to ask, what are you doing to your guitar? because everyone in the office was surprised when they have walked in and seen only two people and wondered where the bass was coming from'' haha and this is like a well known practice space??? when i explained he just looked confused.
I think it's more a case that you're playing to people that aren't massively bothered by it. Where is it you guys practice anyway?

I could give you a list of promoters who'd definitely be interested in putting this sort of thing on... if that was what you were after. Although I can understand if it's purely for the joy of playing and not about playing gigs or whatever.

I think I've only listened to the first set of recordings you put up but I found them really cool.
Keep it up!

:)

Ah, is that Neil? He's recorded drums for my band before. Seems to know his stuff and I've liked a lot of the recordings that have came out of there.

I'll have a think and try and come up with a few names for you. You can pick and choose when you want to approach them, obviously :)
