I actually like the Tom Delonge sig. I have fond memories of seeing Blink live in 2001 and the guitar makes sense for the way most punkers play.
Feel I have to remind everyone:
Just look at that instrument, so free of gimmick.
And these are stunning in person:
FUN FACT:
MSRP of original ES-175 when first released in 1949, adjusted for inflation: $1,606.17
Street cost of new ES-175: $3,599.00

WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BUILD A LOOPER INTO A GUITAR?!?!?!?! YOU COULD NEVER MAKE SEAMLESS LOOPS BECAUSE YOU'D HAVE TO STOP PLAYING!!!!!

There were several effects in here that actually made me feel nauseous. But also full of rage. Like some kind of nausea-rage. I'm still working on the compound noun to describe my feelings.

If they reworked the body shape and got rid of some of the ridiculous cosmetic things it'd actually be a very cool product.

I just had a genius idea!
Because I don't have 3 hands to play the guitar AND fanny around with the effects.
I had the idea of putting all them effects in little metal boxes, on the floor, and you could use your feet to switch them on and off...

Why do Gibson spend so much of their time making stupid and pointless guitars like this.

But surely you couldn't get a professional level guitar and foot pressing effects for a mere $5,000 could you?

The even funnier part is that the guitar comes with wireless pedal controllers.
Doesn't this defeat the entire point of the guitar? I don't get it. If you're going to make a robot guitar, give it a knob for different tunings and use stompboxes for the rest.

Because gimmicks are easier to sell than workmanship? You can explain a gimmick in text, but people have to feel and see workmanship and be educated enough to know what they're looking at. It's marketing.

The whole History of guitar especially the electric guitar is a mixture of gimmicks, fads, emerging technology, and trying to capture what an unpredictable and finicky public wants. If there is any company in the history of guitar that has consistently tried to make craftsmanship part of the above equation it's Gibson.

THAT IS THE STUPIDEST PLACE FOR AN INPUT JACK!
REALLY?! It is just so dumb... I want more mini humbuckers they sound rad clean... BUT DOES THAT GUITAR need three pickups. 534erf subpare effects and a fucking robot tuning machine!? GOD DAMNIT!
