I like mine because it looks like a hippie strap from Woodstock or something.I got it for free.I don't know what kind it is,it doesn't have a name on it or maybe it has worn off. It's pretty old.
It came inside the case with this guitar so I think they are about the same age.

When I bought my first guitar, they gave me a store strap "Guitar Depot"... took it home & wrote "Nirvana" on the strap like a retart. 15 years later, I'm a grown ass man playing a guitar with "Nirvana" scribbled across the strap.
I've got other straps, nothing feels comfortable. Gotta try some of these straps you guys posted up.
I use Schaller strap locks, just so I can swap my belt between guitars, love em.

I want this really badly but it aint cheap:
I've also recently switched to using jumbo strap buttons from
www.axesrus.com rather than the straplocks I used to use. They're equally as secure and don't get in as much way and you can use other straps etc... I just prefer them to the schallers I used to use - they were great when I used wear my guitar lower but now I have it at a rather nipple scratching height I don't need the extra support

I'm pretty loyal to these
Reunion Blues brand. Strap is wool and the ends are thick leather. The leather is tough so the straps never come undone.
I mostly use the brown ones, although they have a much more reddish tint in real life.

Basic black Levy's leather strap for electric. £12 and still looks good after ten years. Also, doesn't slide about like daft nylon ones.
Two tone suede red brown one side, dark tan the other for acoustic. Had that one for going on fifteen years and still fully functional. Doesn't have a name on it tho?
Oh... and I use the rubber seal from grolsch bottles as strap locks. Works well. Was funny when I noticed them selling something similar in shops.

This is an ACE strap from the 60's and the pattern is called "Stained Glass," People like Jimmy Page, Hendrix, and Duane Allman have used the same strap design. I got this with a 1967 Harmony acoustic and with some eBay browsing I found the strap was worth more than the guitar I bought it with...

I had an ACE strap in that stained glass design too about 15 years ago, it came with a junky Norma guitar I had, but the leather bits were really dried out and it snapped the first time I tried to use it.
Never realized it was the
exact type of flowery '60s strap Hendrix used but you'd appear to be right from this pic I've seen a million times without noticing.

I do love those Ernie Ball ones, but I love my extravagant Beatles fan boy Vox Python one.

One of these was my first one I bought. It's lost somewhere in my room.
I have black, blue and white ones. Aswell as a brown and yellow Fender one which I nicked from my schools Jazz Bass years ago.

I have a couple of custom length Italia leather straps which are really nice quality.
4" wide and extra short, very cool.
