I don't have a camera. I use Photobooth on my Mac. Sixteen guitars but no camera...

Please forgive my naivety/rudeness, but there's something i'm not quite getting. Wood is cheaper than a guitar, so why fuck about an actual SS body, when you could invest about £10/$10 in some timber. Then like 100 on a neck. And go from there with the telecaster parts. I like the concept, just a few details of the execution are a little off (pickguard/old control route).

Getting a body made and painted locally would have been $600. If I could get a custom neck done, it would have been at least $200. And the Super-Sonic necks are quite unique, anyways. I lack tools and skills to make my own. The work I did do was with a Dremel tool and sandpaper.
I got the original guitar for $350 and made a project out of it. Something to do. I don't mind the appearance at all. I like that it looks modified rather than stock.

Finally some better pictures of the finished product.
Note the custom pearl / gold / left-hand Sperzel tuners.

And here is a close-up of the back. Hard-tailed, ferule bar, gold strat jack.

Those knobs look big and clunky on that control plate, IMO.

I like your BO. In a wall of guitars it jumps out every time.

I think this looks great - I like the pickguard shape with the tele. When I saw your first blurry long shot I wasn't sure but straight on in focus looks great for sure. Nice work!

Thanks. I've grown quite attached.
Now what should I do for the next one...

Wholly dirty Sanchez! That's quite a wall. That's more hooks than in Hemingway!
