Haha, I saw an Elk Bassman clone with matching cab that went for really cheap a while ago when I was looking for a Bassman. They seem quality.

I just held back from bidding on a Tanglewood Tomcat in need of a little attention (broken switch, tiny spots of white paint) that went for only £62. I looked at them when they first came out and £225 for a guitar that had a piezo pickup as well as twin humbuckers seemed pretty fair. Then they went up to £250 and £270 and I lost interest. I still hanker after a guitar with a piezo pickup but I have too many guitars. I'd have to get rid of the Hondo II LP copy that Nick gave me to fix.

Stuff:
  • tuner pedal
  • the second half of Portugalwillie's duo
  • finishing my three Duo projects (for reals)
  • a serviceable 2x12
  • echo base
  • Klone?
That's it. That's all.

My wife has no problem with me buying clothes that cost $150, but is not so copasetic on me spending $100 on a reverb pedal.

Right now I'm GASing on

Spectacular Aenima (Lion Version)
Eau Claire Thunder
Cathedral Reverb
Mooferfooger Phaser

i'm pretty sure your lack of gas is from liamroe eating all the baby food in the house, instead of you.

Once you have a guitar like that why would you want another! 10 out of 10 for mojo points.

So you're getting along with the A-width nut, then? Did you have to consciously adjust to it?
