Saw this in my local guitar shop at lunchtime. Not sure if I'd buy one myself, I'd rather wait til the CV's start coming into stock. For £155 you can't grumble though.

I'd still probably mod the shit out of it though :?
I can't grumble? IT IS A MAPLE FRETBOARD TELE JUST LIKE THE ONES THEY HAVE ALWAYS OFFERED US. FUCK FENDER.
buy lefty rosewood neck and sell maple neck on eBay?
Left handed rosewood tele necks are going to come from? Oh, an unfinished allparts neck? So I'm supposed to make it myself then? Why the fuck don't I just buy a different brand that doesn't treat lefties like trash instead?

Its like, hey I'll just build me a lefty broncostang. Oh wait, LEFT HANDED MUSTANG CONTROL PLATES DO NOT EXIST IN THE AMERICAN MARKET AT ALL BECAUSE FENDER DOES NOT PUT THEM OUT.

It's bullshit.

Simon Neil's was an artist series, but was CV based on his custom shop, if I recall correctly.

Buy a lefty rosewood CV strat, buy a maple CV telecaster, swap necks, sell the Strat. Tele-fy the headstock. Simple (or not).

Alternatively, wait a few years till my budy gets out of luthier school:

I hope this is something that actually happens instead of just being talked about.

you can make em fit, all you need is a presuasion tool

i like to use a hammer.. and a block of wood to not fuck up the frets...
