looks great...but hate to piss on ur parade but that GFS bigmouth will not fit without pick guard mods.... its cut for a normal hb without a cover...basically the hole is not cut square
So... I guess I gotta square off the corners of the pickguard HB route? Or more than that?.

Just square off the corners a bit

Hold up; are you going with the lower gain Bigmouth? Because I have the high gain set in my Nu-Sonic, and they're stupendously powerful. You really need the lower-gain ones.

Excellent pickups, though. And they look great with their enormous polepieces.

Lower gain definitely.

So... serious question. That's actually been intriguing me since you posted it.

But green pearl material is... well, not cheap enough ($65 - http://www.allparts.com/Green-Pearloid- ... lick=19167)

Could I get away covering the white pearl pickguard in green contact paper or a green film? Like the type people put on car headlights.

May be worth a try. Green pearl on black is TITS.

It's a mockup for now. I'm going to put a thinner mounting ring on there.

did squaring off the corners on the existing hole not go well?...or do u prefer the ring for the kurdtz?

I planned on those pickups in a burst one and mounting a tort pickguard ..Or the lipsticks ... I'm picking one up soon... At the price they're hard to pass up.

I'd get a second one in a heartbeat and drop the GFS lipsticks in it, if there were any LPB ones on ebay.

You should put screws in the HB mounting ring, just straight into the pickguard. That's what the Jaguar HH does and it looks dumb from up close but from far away it looks fine.
