I'm a bit late to the show here, but have a cute little story to share.

The resident engineer/builder at Moollon (who builds MusicomLabs switchers) received an email from the builder of the above, informing him that MusicomLab modules "seriously infringes patent LAW in Europe" and requested to inquire regarding royalty payments and/pr restricting sales. Seeing that he did in fact own a good number of digital switcher patents from 2003 on, a reply was close to being written, until a legal advisor on this end did a detailed search and found that the patents noted in the product description had no jurisdiction outside of the UK, and that MusicomLab switchers in fact did not violate patent law in Europe as stated, and added to the fact you could probably count UK owners of MusicLabs switchers on one hand it all doesn't seem to mean much in the long run. I didn't hear much after that, other than the patent officer advising something along the lines of "feel free to ignore what the sender wrote".

I reckon that prospective UK buyers won't be able to order direct from ML any more, but that's about all that came out of it.

Alas, this was the problem: I needed control over each pedal individually because I had loads of different combinations:
A load of bypass loopers like that would still mean I'd be hitting the same number of footswitches as I am now. But, I'm sorted now

I made the stompbox mostly for bass. I have since been using the circuit lots in bass effects for customers. I like to run a clean bass and an octave up fuzz in the loop. I can make you one if you'd like.

Um yeah. You can put your company info in your sig. That way it's less blatant.

I'm sorry, but all those DIP switches are a shit way of doing this. Not to mention unreliable and prone to damage.

I entirely second both these sentiments, and I don't even own enough pedals to justify having a switching unit...

Same here, I only use 4 pedals but that thing is just too cool.

It's dead good, totally worth the price for how much easier it's going to make my life onstage.

Just need to get some drawbolt catches for my big MANLAND homemade pedalboard (currently at Chez Parents Du Doog) and maybe remake the patch cables with some thinner cable, it's a bit of a tentacle-y nightmare at the moment.

That looks like a fantastic bit of kit. Have you sorted out the dual amp malarky? No loss of signal with the split or owt?

Yeah, got it all working now, 2 amps and all.

I think there's a sliiiight drop in signal when split versus using one amp, but it's very minor, probably helped by my DT-10 always being in the signal path, bufferin' away.

OK, that's what it does! It's like digital multi fx patching with analogue effects. Glad to see something good come out of my crippling ebay addiction.
