I've seen a guitar listed locally at over the market price, sent the seller an offer which has then been refused. Then, seen said guitar in the local Cash Generator (like a pawnshop) for about what the seller was asking for, meaning they'd sold it to the shop for a fraction of that (normally half the selling price minus the tax).

Having spent all yesterday playing the Coronado I, I think I've got ultimate GAS for a II. I normally only use the bridge pup for dirt but if the bridge pickup is anything like the neck pup.... My god. The price of these seems to be going in the right direction for buying again. If I get the chance to buy one when I've got the money it'll be a no-brainer,
I'd say the neck pickup is the winner on these guitars. I've been underwhelmed with the bridge pup... really shrill.
I haven't had much use for the bridge pup really. The middle selection sounds really good. Neither of the pickups really cut through in a band setting (in my experience) unfortunately.
Yeah I remember you saying the output is low on yours. They seem to be a bit all over the place as far as that goes. Mine is loud, on par with the rest of my guitars and actually higher output than my vintage Jag.
Mine doesn't have a bridge pup, I'm going by what I'm told. This seems to back up the fact that these all sound pretty different
Bugger, I guess if I can find one for a good price when I have the spare money I'll take the risk. I'm glad you've given the bridge pup that great review Stewart. My wallet's not so happy about it tho.
