The burgundy mist looks amazing. What neck did you use in the end?

A 69 reissue neck. Was gonna use the '65 mustang neck I just bought but I think that will be nice on the Musicmaster2/duosonic

Bridge thimbles were a tad off but Cooterfinger fixed it right up. No problem at all. Hopefully I will have it together real soon. Very purpley in some lights.

If I paid a $150 for someone to finish a guitar; I'd pissed there was so much orange peel on the top. The back looks good but the top has a lot of orange peel.

It's really not as bad as you think. It's the slightest amount and you can't feel it. My original guy flaked on me.

It was actually only $100.00 The $150.00 was for another guitar. Still great quality and I didn't have to aggravate myself doing it.

Eh, SKC is right IMO. I'd at very least be waiting a bit for it to settle then doing some sanding and polishing on the front of that thing. The back looks fine but that front is...ehhhhh.

It really Isn't as bad as you guys think. It's not bumpy at all. If I wanted to I could polish it right out. But I'm not concerned because of how small it really is. If you guys picked it up and held it you would know what I'm saying. It's not like spray paint orange peel. It is smooth as fuck and gives off one hell of a gloss and what not. I don't know how to describe it. But whatever I'm happy with it haha.

I think it's just something weird with the picture I took.
The thing really is smooth as glass.

This looks pretty good...

...but this is possibly the greatest Mustang I've ever seen. Give it contours and a gold guard and I'd never play the thing because I'd be too busy looking at it, but damn would I enjoy owning it.
