They have. Placement is everything. This has the pickup in the same place as a regular Mustang bass but since it's probably a bit more powerful or full sounding this guitar will likely sound better to most bassists. The fact that it's a shortscale bass is probably more of a problem than anything in this department though.

ACTION FILM ULTRA had to shave that mess off, otherwise I'd be indefinitely forbidden to kiss my wife (and/or get BEDROOM ACTION). It was three weeks of ACTION COOL, though.
