on other models i like it when the pickguard only touches half of the pickguard. but on that it def looks better rounded off at the top.

even the fixed guard doesn't really do it for me, but admittedly i think double cut LP's are among the more hideous. great imagination, though.

i used to think the double cut was the ugliest beast ever created, but over the years ive come to like it more and more, tho i would never own one, mainly becuz i can't get on with the gibby nut string spacing, believe me i have tried, and tho your take on the "mutt" is a nice one, i believe i would also have to pass. just taste, and my tastes suck

Yup. Bolt on Jaguar (or any short scale Fender neck really.) Fender radius with that and string spacing.

Well, I'm sure he's got other things to do when he's not working on the mutt and jag. Plus, you can't rush a good job. It's looking great!

i realized what he was doing with the neck i was just stating that i cant get along with the gibson strong spacing, not my personal fav. By any means, i as wel believe he is taking a long time, but i have been known to take AGES on a guitar before, tho i have also cut and routed a guitar body with a pockguard in less than six hours, tho at the time i had everything set up to do it that fast, and when you have three routers all set up for one part or another it maes everything go so much faster

Andrew cuts hair for a living and is very busy with that. He normally only gets one free day a week to do any guitar work. I told him I would rather he take his time than try to rush it. My biggest f*ck ups happen when I rush.

I wasn't talking about the design dicks.. I was talking about the time it takes him to make a body. But if he cuts hair and is busy and stuff I guess that makes sense and answers my question lol.
