Well I'm just thinking the string-thru-body is inherently more stable.

Next question - has anybody with an official hardshell G&G Strat, Mustang, or Jaguar case determined which fender case this guitar fits in?

I purchased mine from MF and will review it there as soon as I can (my work-week starts in about three hours, so may not happen until next week). Can't speak regarding how tuning stability compares to the Mustang as I still don't own one, but the vintage-style "synchronized" tremolo will stay in tune quite well when properly set up. However, you can't treat it like it's a Floyd Rose despite some of the similarities between the two. Many tricks and tools to improve the vintage-style "synchronized" tremolo's tuning though, but I won't go into it here.

I have SKB and Vintage Fender cases for my Jaguar/Jazzmasters and a vintage style Fender Mustang case for my Cyclone so I will get back with you on that question. Definitely will be putting her to bed in a hardshell case as soon as I can.

Limited time playing her yesterday d/t other committments, but definitely dug what I heard and felt!

Fits in the Fender vintage Jaguar/Jazzmaster case(this is the case that my 50th anniversary Jaguar came in...I believe it's referred to as the "Deluxe"), but slides around...so no good.

Will not fit the contoured SKB Jaguar/Jazzmaster case at all.

Fits the Fender vintage Mustang (Fender Standard Mustang / Jag-Stang / Cyclone Case (Black) case like a glove. Nice tight fit.

I bet it would fit in the Fender Strat Case, you might have to adjust the padding slightly like I did for Teh Kurdtz Mustang to fit in the Strat case.

Any of you SS owners wanna take a pic of the trem assembly with the cover off?
5 springs + wood blocks on either side = hardtail stability

It comes with 3. Add 2 more and the guitar will be staying in tune more. But when youre doing this you have to set up the tremelo by each string higer.
My super-sonic is now perfect. And is now my main guitar. Learning by doing.

And no blocks needed. Do it correctly. No buzzing no tuning problems. Its like when youre setting up a mustang. Read before doing.

Cool, so did you add 2 more springs then?
Is the bridge flat against the body now?

I hope the SS has more tuning stability than the Mustang. I am constantly getting sour notes with it. Never was a problem on the Jag HH special.
The SS seems like the best of both worlds. If I like it better I'll probably sell both the Jag and Mustang, maybe to people on here.

Yes i did that. 2 more dimarzio springs.

And no not entirley. But have 0.10 on it now. I used 0.9 on every guitar and now 0.10 . So i can take a pic if you wanna see the tremelo now?

Thanks man. I also have a matching Strat, in sunfire orange flake, with mint pick guard.

As you can see the Super-sonic fits the case well, but I wish that it had a compartment to keep things from sliding around. I believe Fender offers the same case with a closed storage compartment, but I can't seem to find it now.
