Love the surf green - I just finished a sea foam green jaguar build. Best wishes for happy times with the new Jaguar....

Maybe the issue some are having is you are taking a Squier and trying to make it look like a Fender? (Even with the bridge mod.) Because of Paul1k, I think this forum in particular is sketchy about putting a Fender name on a Squier. Maybe your other projects were not as objectionable because you were making something unique and not quite as easy to mistake for a Fender?

Not sure. I don't have a problem with people swapping necks, decals, etc as long as they are honest about it. Paul1k was a dick because he tried to pass his stuff off as legit. I don't think that is what you have in mind, so I don't mind it. :)

Nah. This one is definitely a keeper. It's the jaguar I always wanted. Only thing missing really is binding but oh well. I wouldn't of swapped the necks if I didn't have the extra fender. I rather use that than the squier personally.

I'm not ashamed of it. It is a squier and I have stated already in the post. So it's just getting old. I don't care if anyone is pissed off or offended about it. It's my guitar. So.... whatever.

nothing to be ashamed of dude, my only jag is a squier, plus like every other person here has a squier jag/jazz/stang/whatever

Now for a project update... the guard came from Jeanie pickguards. It is such good quality nitro red tort. i don't know why he has such a bad rep. This is the third guard I have gotten from him. All his stuff is top notch. If you want a custom guard made, don't waste your time messaging him all your specs. Just ask for his number and get him a call. He will get exactly what you want and no mis-communication. I wish I could capture how good it looks in the pictures. It still has the protective plastic on it btw. Soo I free hand marked up a humbucker template, taped it up, and routed it. Also free handed.. lol But it came out good as usual. I still have to route a bit for the pickup screws and then paint it, but that will be easy. My JB came as well. Now I'm just waiting on my AVRI pickup for the neck. I'm doing a standard jaguar wiring but a push pull volume knob to split the humbucker. I might use a cobain switch plate. Not sure yet. It looks great though. I decided against the pickup ring. The photos are a mockup with the original neck pickup and a white humbucker I have.

Looks nice though I prefer WRHBs in the bridge on my Jaguars.

I traded it for a CAR Competition Mustang. I am trying to remember who I traded it to. Shortscaler in Canada I believe.

Edit: I traded it to Serfx.
