All the trouble using all the gold and they couldn't throw on gold humbucker covers? Stupid.

John 5, he played with Manson and Rob Zombie. He has 3 or 4 other signature Teles similar to this one, usually black with chrome hambakers...anyway gold with gold hardware = puke IMO, wonder if this will start a new trend or if people will look back in a few years and go "hey remember when Fender did that?"

I think brainfur was being sarcastic. John 5 has a great Tele collection. Now he's working on a bad Tele collection.

The guy over on Offset who leaked the VM offsets / Bass VI etc has just posted details of the Troy Van Leeuwen sig Jazzmaster:
Guy on Offset who leaks stuff wrote:Here's the 2014 Troy Van Leeuwen Signature Jazzmaster. Nothing too unexpected. It is built in the Ensenada plant. Model number is 14-0070-793.

Image

From the Fender description: Gloss Oxblood finish with a four-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard. White witchhats. Two-way toggle switch on the upper horn rather than the customary slider switch, and the brass-saddle Mustang bridge is combined with a Jazzmaster tailpiece. “C-shaped neck profile and heel-end truss rod adjustment, 7.25-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets and pearloid block inlays. American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster pickups. Hardshell case included.

MSRP will probably be in the $1600 range and it should MAP at around $1100-$1200. I saw the Fender Frontli-, er, I mean "Illustrated Pricelist" today and totally forgot to look. Duhr.

Also the Pricelist showed that the Jim Root and the Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmasters are the only offsets added to this year's models. (That is until Fender puts out 40 different models 3 months from now just like 2013 and 2012. They should just wait until July to print that damn catalog.)

Troy van whateverthefuck jazzy looks gorgeous. Vintage correct with a lovely finish. Yeah, i don't give a fuck if i'm an amber switch tip flicking douche bag, i love 7.25, skinny frets, and loads of string behind the bridge.

The first J5 Tele would be my #1 most wanted guitar if my fingers would cooperate on 25.5.

Is that the 12 string? I hate the headstocks on his 12 string.

Seriously, if I could cut it on 25.5, I'd buy this guitar.

...I don't know why there's a white box on the headstock. It's the same headstock as the Venus 12.
Hell is other people.
