Has it been delivered to your work? If so, plug straight into your monitor, and melt your co workers faces with some fizzy/tinny office blooz!JordanD wrote:I would love to but already being at work, and my boss noticing my good mood, I don't think it'll play out well. When I get home it's going straight into my Greta.
And gratz.

Get a friend to set off fire alarm.
One of the benefits of working from home a lot is that you can stay in to receive new stuff and then spend all day playing with it. When you ought to be working. Double win.

Does anyone know what the fuck that S1 switch on the Baja does? On mine it seems to affect sound in three positions :
Neck+bridge parallel
Neck+Bridge series
Neck only
Based on the videos I've seen, I would only expect it to affect the series/parallel options.
Edit : the following is from the Fender website :
"Engaging the S-1 switch on this particular Telecaster introduces out-of-phase circuitry to blade switch positions two and four only, with positions one and three remaining unaffected"

Oh I didn't mention the dream I had in which I got a mint green (or surf green? dream color is weird) TELECASTER.
This Telecaster had HUGE knobs, like the size of dials on a dishwasher. And they went up to 12. When you pushed past 11, the tone got real beefy.
I asked someone about dat beef tone and was told there were mini-buckers underneath the guard that only activate when you crank those huge knobs.
Dreams are fucked up.

I thought so. It definitely does something on mind with just the neck pickup on. I'll probably never use the out of phase, just more of an observation.Freddy V-C wrote:It just reverses the phase of one of the pickups, so if you have both pickups switched on you get quacky out of phase sounds. If you're only using one pickup it does nothing.

If this Bristol trek that me Fran and nickd are thinking about, I'll bring it down to see its old master.Mike wrote:I miss my Baja Telecaster sometimes - it was a really great solid guitar.
