Not even sure why you'd point that out.

You're a strange person. Well, cork-sniffer.

Maybe. But if YOU could, you would.

One day, kid. Keep it up with your homework, lil grasshopper. And eat your vegetables.

Nobody is being unpleasant toward you. You appear to get very upset that people buy and enjoy and even rate gear much cheaper than your preference and get really quite choked up about it. Then you do the whole macho "boy, one day you'll be a man" schtick whenever anyone calls you out on it, as though your shit really does smell sweeter or something. You did it in the Dano thread over amps, and then made out like I was lording it over you when I made it clear that my amps are, y'know, fucking shit hot. Not better than yours, or anyone elses. Just really fucking great gear. That's what we're all interested in, isn't it? Not that it made any difference to the point you were trying to make anyway as it ended up being a weird, pointless jab in your usual torrent of bullshit.

Fascinating fact: It's possible to be disdainful of a particular piece or range of gear without having to be insulting toward the person who happens to have the opposite opinion. I dislike PRS guitars. That doesn't mean that somebody that owns one is a major idiot who wouldn't recognise how great a Squier Telecaster Custom II is. And vice versa. Don't be that guy.

But if your shit's so nice then why don't you smear it on your hand and have a wank with it, you sad fuckspanner. Because, as much as I want to be even-handed about it all, you do actually seem like a deeply unpleasant twat.

I must agree with Rox the ONLY sure fire way to know if something is good is price... I personally am nor happy unless I feel that I've been ripped off, when you have that feeling you know you've bought something worthwhile.

Hey Daft, keep an eye out for cheap rack reverbs, they are better than the digiverb in my opinion and some can be had for cheaper. The Alesis has several great units, the MidiverbII and the Quadraverb are superb. The Yamaha units are much more expensive, but very awesome. On the cheaper side for Yamaha is the FX500. The SPX90 usually goes for around $80-150 but its the Shieldz unit. I also like the Digitech TSR-24S and the Behringer V-Verb. Good luck dude.

Yup, SPX 90 is the Shieldz unit and the FX 500 is the Slowdive unit.
