Cort lead II, buy or not?

So uh. had a go at the frets with a sandpaper and managed t get it to a reasonable 2,4mm over the 12th fret... I like high action, so it's not that far outta my comfort zone... Still might have to go with 10s tho. And after i get paid from my part time job i will probably try to source a cheap strat neck and just fucking replace it.
