oh yeah, forgot to mention one of the knobs doesn't fit one of the new pots, and the toggle doesn't hold the bridge position. 
i shoved a small piece of scratch paper into the knob cavity to cure that, and simply bought a new three-way (months ago when i got the guitar home) which i also replaced on sunday. had to be low profile to fit the cavity, and even at that i had to dremel out about 1/16" to make it fit.
all this manland shit was why i missed most of the rams game sunday, but well worth it. i got the win, they didn't.
