it’s 2mm difference, when I learned about the Supersonic nut I measured all my guitars and found out my CIJ Fender Stratocaster is also 40mm, I’ve never really noticed it.

UPDATE:
got a phone call from David Lansing from Fender. He said he can have both shipped out Monday direct to me.
Called Musicians friend AGAIN because they never called me back. inquired about my order, they said they would ship on the 23rd of June, if they come in.
canceled my order (they didn't charge me any fees which was cool)
called Fender rep back and put in my order over the phone. guitars on route soon.

So when I got both together, the supersonic was the fuckin shit for the first week.
The rest of the month tho is the toronado.
Seriously it's the real fucking deal.
The super sonic is a fun novelty of 2001 and reliving VISTA MAJOK.
but this toronado is pro level shit. ALL my other guitars make noise in this basement. Guitars I own worth 1,000s of dollars make way more noise than this while not playing.
I was fucking around playing ZERO and all the microphonic slide shit going on In that song that I can dial in on all my other guitars pretty easily I havent figured out how to do it yet with this. I have behringer fuzz dimed with amp reverb on 10 and nothing.
