Yeah, it's not bad. Couple of daft things that annoy me. Like wrong pickup screws. But that's probably me being an arse.

				OK so this is correct

This is the VM all tiny and stupid

I mean admittedly its not the worst thing going on in the world...but it kinda is the worst thing going on.
Just noticed the pole pieces are smaller too...kill me now!

I had one of the VM Jazzmasters for a while. I got it in a trade, wasn’t a bad guitar but someone had already upgraded the trem and pickups. The fake tortoise looks like a 90’s video game lava or something, I sanded it Down to the white layer and dyed it with coffee. I ended up trading it but it was fun for a while I’m just not that into jazzmasters.

Ha. that does literally look like the wrong screw though, and not just a different screw.

It may be a jazzmaster pickup screw. Can anyone confirm all vms are like this?

It looks like one of the two screws you get in the middle of a P-90.

The ones in my VM VI are smaller than the pickguard screws. They don't look quite as "lost" in the countersunk holes as your picture though.

I would say so. The tort on the VM Jaguar HH body I had was horrible, the one on my CV Mustang is pretty nice.

My CV has pretty much the same screws as your VM, although without the stripped head.
And yes, I do think less of you

				Haha!

First horror!

Currently putting original bridge on.
No horrors under the guard thankfully

I cant see any grounding to the bridge or trem in the normal way but it is grounded somehow.

Only slight doge thing is there was a crack in the paint just above the neck plate. I thought it was just in the paint. But its a bit deeper than that. Neck pocket is super tight so probably where it happened.

My CIJ Jag (and likely JM) had a ground wire sandwiched between the tailpiece and body, but not on the Squier CV; I think it's maybe grounded at the bridge cup, but not in a way that's visible.

Pour
beer glue on it.

Glue later...superglue?
