sexy!
True... that is the downside to tabs. It took me a while to develop my ear to be able to figure stuff out myself.Mike wrote:That is true and while tab is useful not having it was good for me as it meant I developed an ear for working out stuff unaided, which is also useful for writing your own music.
I really want to know the same thing, my Dad has a spray booth he uses to spray cars and I could easily paint a guitar and only have to worry about getting the finish, but I'm not sure how well paint designed to go on metal will deal with wood. I guess with enough primer it'll be fine, right?iCEByTes wrote:dount sounds impossible

I learned chords from a Mel Bay chord book, then was introduced to tabs from GUITAR WORLD MAGAZINE, and I think they helped me visualize notes on the fret board, then over time my ears caught up, but atleast I can find a note on the fret board during freebird solos and shit. Thank you tabs.Billy3000 wrote:True... that is the downside to tabs. The paint me and cowbell have used on our broncos is car paint. It works fine... that's what Fender used back in the day.Malik wrote:I really want to know the same thing, my Dad has a spray booth he uses to spray cars and I could easily paint a guitar and only have to worry about getting the finish, but I'm not sure how well paint designed to go on metal will deal with wood. That wasn't your internet cutting off, that was me cutting your internet off for 2 minutes so I could beat you to the answer!Hurb wrote:i was just posting that it would be fine.. the my fucktard interets cut me off![]()
. and then billy beat my ass. but yes car paint is all you need.
Totally! My first pedal was a Zoom 707.....Until the input jacks crapped out on me and I got the internet (circa 2000)) I loved it. From then on it was a constant pursuit to find that tone that everyone glorifies by words into a non-existant bliss. It's all too easy to forget that it's not how many pedals you can buy, it's what you can do with your fingers.Mike wrote:I'm just glad there was no internet when I started playing. Too much information can be a bad thing.
I'd have been all like "Whut's the bypass like on a Zoom1010?" instead of goig OMFG it's GOT LIGHTS AND WORDS ON IT AND MY GUITAR IS A SPACESHIP NOW
icey...you cant turn that type of body into a smoother style.iCEByTes wrote:in hands nasty colour be far ?
