You should get laser fingers like Steve Vai. Or trade hands with Satan like Fry did.

I'm beginning to hate the sound of my JB.
but I love the sound of my lil screamin demon.
I have always liked DiMarzio pup's, the ones I've had have always sounded nice.

the only Seymour Duncan i have is the JB in my Ibanez strat-a-like. i can understand saying its midrangey, but at least in this guitar, it has tons of treble- way more than the stock single coils do. i just like it's sound, though it's been overused.
i have a Dimarzio super distortion in my SG jr., but it doesnt have any treble. it replaced a Dimarzio DLX-plus, which had nice treble, but didnt have any midrange. both Dimarzios have a 'farty' kind of bass. i'm not pleased with the Dimarzios sound.
am after a filtertron,
Mangus.

It'll probably sound good (metal-wise) when the soldano-a-like is finished though. Provided that it's a decent copy.

You really shoulda gotten a 10w tube head made, you're never gonna get it loud enough in your bedroom to truly appreciate the tubes.

There's less difference between 25w and 50w than you might imagine..

25w=Very loud in smaller room
50w=even louder but not twice, just more headroom.

Yeah, my Valve Jr is only 5W and that's still ear-splittingly loud at full volume. I can't even get a usable amount of overdrive (with single coils) without waking up the neighbours. That doesn't bother me all that much 'cause I use my big muff for dist. anyway, but it would be nice to have the option.
