It's just too clunky looking in my opinion. I think a smaller, univox/mosrite style headstock would have fit perfectly.

I don't like it, and don't really have much to contribute...
It just seems a bit, superhero-like, or just too cartoony for my liking. It's like you've crossed Fender build styles with Danelectro style looks, and taken out the innovation. The butt of the neck is a good start, but I await to see more cool "Aug special" additions to make your guitars a bit more unique in future. I'm sure that'll happen!

UPDATE.
Headstock. I think we have a winner. I finally decided that the end of the headstock should look more like the pickguard and I slimmed it down, too.

Better, but I still think I'd prefer it if you got more original with the contours. It's very 2D. You could add some neat Hi-Flyer style contours, and that headstock needn't be flat and boring.
Still, this thing gets better and better with each carnation, like most of your work, so I think I'll bear with you.

I've always been a "how hard could it be? 
" kind of guy, but this undertaking has really humbled me. I've had to literally build this thing from an idea...and that's no small task. It's one thing to take a Fender body and copy it; it's quite another being the actual designer/builder. I've taken a few lumps along the way, and had to learn the hard way what does and doesn't work (design and function-wise).
Some lady in our building saw it this morning, as I was leaving and commented that the guitar reminded her of the beatles and the 60's. Say...isn't that what I was going for? Well, kinda...I was shooting more towards the 1920's-1950's, but whatevaz.
As for the comments (in both threads) about this guitar not looking completely original and whatnot, I say this unto thee: That's not what I was necessarily going for. I wanted something with clean, simple and reminiscent of another era. I think we've done that.

Cool cool. I kinda get what Malik means, I think some concave relieve to the centre would be cool. You know Brian Moore style, or even Peavey Wolfgang.
