Last pic of mine before some changes...

btw that is the shittiest acoustic ever played by human hands. I loaned it to a friend for a few months and he managed to completely ruin it. :(

Is that a Jagmaster beside the P-bass in the second row? I can't really see it.

That's some collection of Jaguars.

yea, I'd like to see that one too. is it a CP jag? for some reason I'm finding myself suddenly very attracted to jags with humbuckers....

Yeah It's a vista Jagmaster, I'm in the middle of installing upper controls in it.

The acoustic is an old vintage thing. It was REALLY awesome until i loaned it out. I really need to get a new one.

Here's a better pic of the Jagmaster, it was my go-to guitar if I was taking one to a party/drunken Jam:

Thanks!

It's a.... guitar.

neck/tuners: '91 Fender American Std. Str*t, not reliced but lots of playing
body: '00 or '01 Squier Affinity Str*t (does sound better imho than the '91 usa body), reliced
tremolo: from old 60s Str*t (the most expensive part of this Str*t...)
neckplate: Tokai L-series plate
PU's: Van Zandt True Vintages but middle PU NOT rwrp
pickguard: from a dutch forum-guy/client
strapholders: GROLSCH!
modified electronics
metal/old style stringretainers
ivory nut
no trem.-backplate
5 springs, trem.plate down on body
1st refret: last october with am.std. fretwire (done by a very good tech from Amsterdam)

About THE GoldTop ;) :

'02 Gibson Historic collection R7 yada yada
It was from a client and when I played that guitar I knew for sure: "This is THE LP for me!". I did ask him to contact me if he did want to sell that guitar and that happend last year.

He'll give me some missing original parts in the near future (don't worry, he became a good friend/etc.). The knobs on the posted pic are from a 60s Gibson, now some other knobs because those 60s knobs are $$$. PU's are Classic '57s afaik.

I'm gonna try some Amber or Klopmann (both German) PAF-clones in the future, a TonePro or Pigtail hardware-upgrade and some Dr.Vintage pots/caps.

It's a very useable LP, from clean/jazz/blues to heavy rock with just the pu-selector-switch or volume-knobs. The e-string has some "twang" to it (very hard to find on most LPs imho) and the sound is very balanced on every position. Another buddy of me does have a real, early '57 dual PAF goldtop but we both prefer this one regarding tone and feel... altough his' was/is a nice investment.

The neck is very round/thick but I really like that and I don't have Hendrix-sized-hands/fingers ;) Imho it's more comfy than most R8 necks because the "shoulders" are more round.

My all time favorite LP color is faded sunburst (let's say like Peter Green's LP) but this one is a keeper and I don't mind the color. Maybe I'm gonna change the plastic stuff to black like that early PAF-GT from that buddy.

The DC Junior on the right is a japanese Essex, still gotto install another bridge because this one is "compensated" for a wound G-string set and I don't use such sets on electric guitars.

Nah, I'm in the middle of getting it done. I got the rollers etc from Hurb so I need to get it done. I've thought of putting splittable HBs in there and putting the controls in there. I think that's the way the MIM HH is wired. (I could be wrong)
