Indeed. I tried to get one cheap when I was shopping and eventually got the OD-3 - Daddy O's hold their value very well.

Speaking of tweaking Danos, I never thought much would be under one, until I saw this... Let the brave do their thang.

Not bad eh? You can't beat them for the price - or twice the price even.

good lord - i've just checked out the stompbox forum on gearpage.net.

it's insane-ia; ive literally never heard of any of the pedals they're talking about. they do talk about a few Bosses, but they've all been heavily modded.

Digitech, DOD and Behringer don't seem to exist in their little world. Bloody hell, is spending over £200+ on every pedal really necessary for your rig to sound good???

Suddenly I feel wholey inadequate..

No, it's neccessary to cover up a lack of playing ability or experience.

exactly. Most of my gear is cheap and I still sound great.

Quite tempted to make a post in the gearpage "your pedalboard" thread, showing off my "rig", i.e.:

Guitar > Zoom 505 > FAB Distortion > FAB overdrive > DOD Death Metal > Marshall Valvestate

then i'll post all like "yeh, i got the TONEZ!"

I'm banning you from the Effects and Amps boards now for revealing that you have shit gear.

hey, i think the p's going to stay with me for a long time, hehe :)
i'm still on the lookout for a phaser that doesn't take away too much low end, it's a bit of a problem with the dano, might be solved when i get the looper/blend box..hopefully..but that guy is so fucking sloooow
i like having the blue rocket at home now since my bigger rig stays at the rehearsalspot, i thot about selling it but i just can't ..

I just got a Daddy-O a few weeks ago, and I love it, My semihollow body through the Daddy-O sounds amazing for blues and the White Stripes.

Some Amps

Here are a few of my amps that are at the apartment right now. I have a couple more, but they are at a rehersal space.

This is my absolute favorite bass amp ever made. 70's Fender Studio Bass. 200 tube watts 1x15 combo. Awesome eq.

Next is a early 80's JCM 800 50 watt w/4x12 bottom. The amp has mods to it for a bigger bottom end. There is a pull knob on the front and a couple of knobs on the back. I don't use this amp much, alas is sits unused.

Here is a PEEPEE Clasic 100 watt head w/4x10 bottom. This was once my touring amp along side a Clasic 50 watt 4x10 combo. Great tone, very versatile. I have since given the combo to my nephew with a RI comp red mustang (X-mas / birthday gifts).
Image
Last is a Cyber Twin. It is currently my main amp. No hasstles, no worries, I "think" it is 130 watts. Some times, when i'm not too lazy, I will use it with the late 60's 2x12 cabinet (pictured) from my 50 watt Bassman (not pictured).

Others not shown are a 60's Twin Reverb, RI Deluxe Reverb, and a 60's Bassman Head. If I can remember to bring a camera to rehersal I can get shots of those also.
