I didn't realise they were already packaged in the exact quantities. I'm here if you need me to send them and your parents can't be arsed (understandable), I basically live at the post office, next to the stamps.

Quick question, I can't remember if we did UKers addresses yet but I can't remember which one I gave. If it's an Essex address (whoever has them) I need to change it 'cause my parents are away for a couple weeks.

I have the list of addresses that Ends used. I'll check the list and post back.
I saw on the local BBC news that there was a 24 hour strike at the Bristol post office which is now over but they have a large backlog because of it. I've no way of knowing if this will have been involved but post office unions are assholes.

I was just trying to save a few bucks by selecting the "Delivery by Mule" option. Sorry guys.
How long can it possibly take a hooved quadruped to swim across the atlantic?

haha.. it's so variable. I have sent pedals across the Atlantic and got them to the West Coast of the States in THREE DAYS. Then went I built one for Fredo and shipped it took like 3 MONTHS.

Thats actually why I figured you guys would have them by now. When you shipped me my last pedal it took like 3 days, and when I sent stewart those Duo pickups it took only 3-4 days as well.

I think everything I've had come from America has taken around five days. The Jazz Bass from Pat took about three from Mexico.
I just had to go to town to buy my American dollars. I was going to do it online because you can get a next day guaranteed service from a lot of places and they offer a better than high street rate (next day, fully insured delivery is free if you order more than £500 or so worth). I was reading the small print and the insurance payment only comes into effect when the delivery is 10 days late and there was a comment on most websites about the strikes being a potential disruption. I would much rather pay an extra £15 or so and have the dollars in my hand than be hoping for them to arrive in time. It's enough bother having these plectrums take so long.
However, buying the dollars as I did resuted in a pleasant surprise. I was expecting to mostly be having $100 notes, with the final $100 worth being made up of smaller denominations. The envitable line about 'the Benjamins' would get a little use. It turns out I only have two Benjamins but I'm quite stocked up on the Uylsses' which is also the book I plan to read on my journey over there. All I knew until a few minutes ago was that the guy's surname was Grant but he's now representing my denomination of choice thanks to a novel I haven't even read.
I currently have one of every denomination except $2, but I hear Jefferson was a prick anyway.

I haven't seen a $2 bill in at least 10 years.

Has anyone kept track of who has received theres? Obviously the whole UK lot are still waiting but it seems like the bulk of the US (and some outside the US) have landed.

I get uber happy every time someone says they got theirs. I realize everyone payed for them and all, but I feel a bit like Sanity Clause.

That's from the replies here and I think Robroe made a thread in the pub when he got his. There were 12 or so people buying but not from the UK so that's not too bad.

I'd like to add that it's because of this plectrum deal that Broefest is happening as spectacularly as it is. I was planning on visiting Buffalo anyway but the discussion in PMs with Ends lead to us organising coinciding dates which inspired rob(og) to get his shit in one sock, and of course Sloan not far behind.
I hope the sheer awesome that will be BROFEST developing out of this inspires youse guys to do an riffz a little harder and with a little more rock 'n' roll in your hearts.
